“Gli Specchi” (Mirrors, in English), is a coming of age novel, enriched by several philosophical and psychological insights of the many characters appearing in the book. Its goal is to describe the multiplicity of human nature. Written in first person, “Gli Specchi “ tells the tale of the personal and ethical evolution of the archetypal man, who lives in a suffocating society The book is structured in four parts, each recalling the symbolical ages of man, from birth to old age.
THE AUTHOR: Giuseppe Favata was born in 1952 at Mazzara del Vallo western Sicily. Having moved to Genova in early life, he has been a secondary teacher. Currently seeking is third University Degree in philosophy he poured his passion for sociology, literature, art and science into his debut book: “Gli Specchi” (Mirrors).
